Our new home.

For some reason my iPhone is not publishing here as it should, so I noticed about ten posts missing from the last couple of months. Darn it! Well, most of them were just pictures of food from classes, but still, how annoying!

So here's the news-- I bought a house finally, and it's a wonderful one! It's up in Cloverdale, which adds about a half hour to my work commute, but considering I only do that commute once or twice a week, it's not that big an inconvenience. It only adds about fifteen minutes to my commute to school, which I do several times a week, so that's not too bad either. More time to listen to my audio books!

Here are some photos of the house and property. It's over 2200 square feet, four bedrooms and three bathrooms on half an acre! It has a large garage, three garden sheds and a small extra room off the back of the garage, so plenty of storage and activity spaces.

The yard has a lot of well established plants, including a variety of amazing flowers and cacti. The previous owners really put a lot of energy into landscaping, so we have a head start, which is wonderful. We'll probably do a small vegetable garden this year, if we can get it planted in time. We'll be cutting it a bit close.

There are a few issues we'll have to deal with, but nothing major or unexpected, and all in all we got an amazing deal and it meets all of our needs and almost all of our wants (it could be in Petaluma and it could have a pool and a hot tub or a creek running through the yard)!

Alright, without further ado, here's a sneak peek at the place.
