Noevil the Sock Monkey

I just finished my first sock monkey, his name is Noevil. He loves Dominic, as you can see.

I've been obsessivly creating instructable this week. An instructable is an online show and tell with text and photos, describing how to do something. Or how something works.

Mostly food stuff, but a couple of other random things as well. I could lose days on that site!
I'm tickled! They have already "featured" two of my instructables, and I just started doing them a week ago. I guess that's kind of a big deal, the editors of the site choosing your stuff to feature on the main page, as they get gazillions of them uploaded everyday.

Warning, if you love sushi my sushi instructable will make you hungry.

So, we got the check for the sale of our Seattle home today, and I am going to buy a new car ASAP! I'm excited. I've never owned a new car before, and this is a big deal to me. What's possibly even more exciting is the fact that I am going to pay off all of my debts in one fell swoop. That will feel good.

After my sister and I both pay off all our debts and I buy a car, there won't be a lot left, but we are thinking about investing in some sort of small business with whatever we do have.

I really need to get a job. I want to go to SRJC to take their renowned culinary program, but I need to get the income and schedule settled before I can consider that.

I do like this house we are renting, and wish we could afford to buy it. We are still trying to figure out if there is any possibility of that working out. We shall see. Again, impossible to think about until I get a job, especially since Julie isn't planning to work until I'm not sure when. Until Dominic is old enough for... something. We'll see.

Okay, I'm going to make more sock monkeys or rag dolls or something now.
